I was thinking of making a grow box, but a quick question before I get all the supplies. I know that I should get an inline exhaust fan, but I wanted to see if instead of that I can make a hole and attach a fan blowing air outwards towards the top of the box, of course keeping another hole on the bottom allowing the air to be sucked in via negative pressure. Is this a good idea? Sorry if this is a super noob question.
As far as I remember, a 4 inch inline fan is cheaper and more effective than a standard fan from say Target.
I tried looking online for one and the cheapest ones I found were about 25 bucks, I just figured a small 7 or 8 dollar fan would work just as well.
Also, side question, instead of an exhaust fan, wouldn't having only a direct input fan work as well with no exhaust? Wouldn't the air be pushed out through the top hole?
