ventilation question

  1. Hello everyone!
I have been reading this forum for a while and maybe have posted but cant remember:smoking:. I am new to growing and have some tomatoes germinating right now so I can learn the ropes before dishing out the bucks for the beans. My question is this: My room is 11' long, 8' wide, and 7' tall. I used a cfm calculator and to vent/coal filter the space every min. I will need about 780 cfm. I will only be doing about four plants under 1 400 w hps. Should I cut the room size in half and get a smaller centrafugal fan? or should I just buy the bigger centrafugal fan and vent the whole space? I want to cut down on noise and nuetralize as much odor as possible, but would venting the larger space be more beneficial to the plants in terms of co2 exchange?
Thank you in advance for any and all replies.

  2. If your just doing four plants I would just do a 4' x 4' area and then you could actually do a seperate veg and flower space.

Either get a tent or some black and white panda plastic
