i want to create a good ventilation system in my grow closet.. now im wondering if i can do this without making too much of a mess.. i want to make a vent at the top of my closet and have an air duct attached to the vent where i would exhaust my air.. this question might be a little dumb, but could i just position a blower or fan in the opposite direction (blowing into the vent, outside the room) to create exhaust? i would have a fan attached to the light hood blowing into the air duct and another at the vent blowing it out of the room.. would this work? heres a picture of the outside of the closet, and im curious if anyone knows if there would be wiring i would have to deal with if i cut a vent slot in the drywall.. ^^ theres a socket on the left side of the wall at the bottom
Hey man, look for sockets and switches above and below where your cutting, cables usually run in a vertical fashion(although i have drilled cables nowhere near a light switch, i dont think you'll have a problem though). I generally allow a section 10" wide covering the socket/switch that i wouldnt cut into. Watch out for the wooden support beams!
