So I’m a first time grower and I am trying to DIY my own grow tent. I want it to be 6 feet tall 4 feet wide and deep. I’ve decided on using LED lights because it gets real hot where I am so I think HPS would be a bad idea and I heard LEDs get more yield than fluorescents. I was thinking about getting two 300w full spectrum LEDs from viparspectra. But I want to include a carbon filter and all the tutorials I’ve seen hook everything up through HPS lights. Could anyone give any tips for how to set up exhaust fan and carbon filter with two LED lights? I’m 100% clueless on this stuff and don’t wanna mess up. And also tips on how to keep the tent cool with fans without disturbing the plants too much.
you add up the above list the tent is maybe the cheapest of the above a light can run $100-400 a fan $100 a tent $80 ...? good luck
