I got a vivosun 4x4 tent with a 1000 watt HPS/MH air cooled hood. What size carbon filter/inline fan with ducting would you use? Etc also im still trying to figure out a lot on the ventilation aspect in general. Any other tips you could give me on this, I would appreciate it
I assume your hood has a 6" opening so I'd go with that for a fan size. Then you can decide if you wanna use it or not. Get a fan that has a speed controller.
6" fan for sure minimum. Mine pulled through the fan then through the hood before exiting the tent. All screens on the bottom of the tent were open. Since mine was in an old garage during the summer, had to buy another 6" fan for cooling the light itself and use the original fan for cleaning the exhaust air through the carbon filter.
