Vegging plants can still stink!

  1. I know the pros already know this, but this is for the newbies. I have my first successful grow going, and my plant (Female Seeds Neville's Haze) has really picked up growth after being treated poorly by lights being too close early in life. She is on her 8th true node with secondary branches filling out all over. I plan to put her into my flower space before weeks end, getting my LED panel and carbon scrubber tomorrow!

But I noted one thing today when I went into the room where the closet was: it smelled of weed. I've never grown before this, and I have not smoked in 24 years, but I never forgot the smell. To be fair, I have the closet open and I did pull the plant out to inspect it earlier though.

The scrubber will take care of it once she is in the flower box, but I'm going to have to do something more to take care of the smell of vegging plants it seems!

  2. Yea man, mine have stunk in veg as well. A great lesson for newbs, plan for odor before you start. Dont plan on waiting until flower.
