It's a yeast extract, a by product of beer making. Only Australians can like it, it's in our blood. British Marmite is pretty good too.
yeah they say that because they put too much on, your only supposed to put a small amount not a thick layer of the shit have u tried the new vegemite? i think its called isnack, i prefer it over the old one actually.
yeh i have tryed the new one doesnt really have a strong taste like vegimite,,, it was called isnack 20 for about a month then everyone jumped up and down becoz of the shit name now they called it cheesymite
