heres the deal' i have a small closet setup, made a grow tent to fit snugly inside it with dimensions around 16"x24"x5', running cfls for veg with a 150w hps for flower w/ supplemental cfls. the setup is great my temps are 68-74 and 30-35% humidity. I currently have 10 plants fresh into veg. Now i know im only gonna want a few plants in there maybe 1 or 2 when it comes to flowering. But i do not know how many ladies are in the house, and im trying to decide wether i should throw em on 12/12 now until i see pre flowers and revert back to veg after i toss the males, or if i should just veg em all then toss em later when i start flowering. One more thing, would it be best to make one monster plan and scrog it out to fill up the area or squeeze 2 or 3 in there and do a sorta type sea o' green? Any opinion is appreciated!
guy at the hydro shop says to go ahead and 12/12 it til i find my fems then take like 3 of em and veg em then take the best lookin one of the three and flower it, use up all my space with the one and put it in like a 6 gal pot, Whattya think?
If you are going to sex first, you should just find the female, re-veg her asap when she shows sex, and do clones instead.
yea i thought of that, only thing is im moving in like 6 months to idk where yet lol so im not sure if the clones will be of any use, and these are just bag seeds, ill probably wait and get a fem seed of somethin yummy and just make a mother. But thanks for the input, the guy at the store suggested the same thing!
