Veg lighting schedule question????

    I have a plant vegging 18/6 and usually my 6 hour dark is around midnight but I just found out my power company charges more during 1to6 pm so I was wondering if it was alright to abruptly change that 6 hour darkness to that time instead without causing damage to the plant?? Thanks for the responses!:)

    It isn't ideal but can be done. I've changed my schedule with no ill effects multiple times.

    Try not to put your plant into 11-13 continuous hours of darkness if possible. Just to be safe-r

    i've had to change schedules many times in the past with no problems. if you're concerned about your bill, do what i do. i veg on a 16/8 schedule. works great!

    Its better for them to get more light than less light than they normally do. You can change it to 24hrs on for a day or so until your new night schedule.

    Peak power times are almost always during the day..why it pays to leave the ac on 80 etc.

    It's perfectly OK to change the light schedule, as long as...

    - during veg, you adjust by extending light or shortening dark, never by extending dark.

    - during flower, you adjust by extending dark or shortening light, never by extending light.
