Vaporizing with Bong and Wand

    Hey guys, I had a quick question so let me give you some details first:

    1: 14" minitube with alex K downstem and a chris c bowl.
    2: glass wand
    3: vector torch

    Is it possible, provided I don't put water in the bong, to heat the wand a bit more than normal and hover above the weed to produce a vapor?

    I can't afford a vaporizer right now but the creativity aspect has me a tad bit pumped to try it out. I'm using a wand rather than lighter to avoid lighter fluid and I'm avoiding my hemp wick because of the chance to burn without water in the bong.
