How exactly do they work? Im going to my friends house tomorrow she just got a vap and im gettin some master kush tomorrow and were gonna smoke (or whatever) it with the vap! ive never used a vaporizer before, are they awesome?
Easy, assuming it's the kind that plugs in, you just turn it on and turn the knob to the highest setting to heat up, grind up the weed and put it in the big glass end of the vap tube... It should take like 3 minutes to heat up, when you know it's ready forsure stick the tube in and inhale may want to turn down the heat though, or you may not. Depends. Like with most other things fatty hits will make you cough like a motherfucker I'll add: it should get you baked!
Not all vaporizers are created equally, so it really can depend on the brand. If you were using something like what I have, the Vapor Brothers (handsfree style). I just turn the knob to about the 11 o'clock position. I don't do the method that some do with cranking it all the way up, then turning it back down because it still might be too hot when you take your first pull. Just use some patience, most won't take longer than 5 minutes to get to the perfect temperature. Also, it's important that you don't OVER pack it. It's very easy to do this. You need to make sure there is a small enough amount that you aren't blocking heat/air movement, it's a good way to burn it and not get very high. Another important thing to note is that you really need to grind it up. If you don't grind it up, you're pretty much just wasting weed. There are more ways to misuse a vaporizer than there are ways of using it correctly. I think it's the common misuse of vapes that some people decide they don't like them. When used correctly, they should get you VERY high. I tend to get higher from vaporizing than I do smoking.
You are not smoking healthier by using box vape. Heating element is metal and it combusts at 200 degrees. Vapes go up to four. So yeah you vape the weed but smoke metal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Glass heating elements, like boodah vapes are best.
