Vaping leaves?

Discussion in 'Apprentice Marijuana Consumption' started by Marijuanicorn, Sep 19, 2011.

  1. So I've just gotten to the point in my first grow where the sexes are differentiating to find that my best two plants and two more average ones are males. Now I've seen plenty of debate as to whether you can smoke or cook with these plants instead of throwing them out, but I'm wondering if vaping could be an option. My logic is, if there are trace amounts of THC which is vaporized at a lower temperature than plant matter, then if you load your vape with some leaves you should only be extracting the THC regardless of its concentration ratio to the plant. Obviously it will be less potent then vaping buds, but it should work, right? I guess unless anybody replies saying they've tried it and it didn't work, I'll give it a go tomorrow and let you all know what happens.

  2. I have been thinking about the exact same thing over the past week, i am sure it would work but you would need to find the sweet spot at which you could get max vapor and no combustion
