  5. Hmmm. You know in theory the 'indica feeling' should be weaker than if it were smoked, because CBD is active at a higher temperature than THC, and it's the fusion of CBD with THC that causes the 'indica feeling'.
So in other words, it should make it more like a weaker sativa.
I'm not a vaper yet so this is all just theoretical until I can put it to practice, before anyone tries to bite my head off.:smoke:

=p Might have to jump in here and bite your head off.

Because actually, contrary to what a lot of people say on these forums, there's a ton of cannabinoids, THC is just one of them, and a vaporizer gets more of all of them. It's true that THC has a lower activation point than CBD, but it's not a lot lower, and theres plenty of types of cannabinoids that are lower than THC, and higher. A good vaping temperature will get all of these without coming close to combusting your herb.

Indicas often produce thicker clouds in my experience, as THC vapor is actually less visible than other cannabinoids. You will get more of a body high than a head high, however even the body high is still a bit clearer. There's less of a burnout stage. But smoking a lot of a good indica will definitely still couchlock you if you aren't careful.

  7. I'd smoke an indica since indicas regularly give you more couch lock and heavier highs, smoking does the same so I'd rather vape sativa and smoke indica but I like smoking more :p

  8. You'll be couch locked. [IMG]

Lmao, didn't even notice that the OP was an unanswered question from 2010.

  11. It will be an indica high man.

  12. Doing it right now, and it's still an indica high, but perhaps a little bit more of a head high. (vapes tend to do that to me)

  13. Only one way to find out...

Just go vape some fucking indica...

  14. lol Is that two of my vapour myths you've busted now?
Gives me an idea for a TV show...:smoke:

For the record though I know about the other cannabinoids, I was just under the impression that the major ones in determining effect were CBD and THC.

You aren't incorrect. THC and CBD are certainly the primary active ingredients, and in importance and amount present they dwarf the other ingredients. But they are both among a whole bunch of cannabinoids, with various but similar activating temps. And I think people overlook terpenes =]. But THC and CBD are the main bits for sure, but vapes get both. Theres a couple cannabinoids that are too close to combustion for a vape to get - but they are few and relatively boring.

It's just important for people to realize CBD is definitely activated by vapes, because CBD is the reason behind many of the medical reasons of cannabis, and if vapes didn't work well with CBD, they wouldn't be the fantastic medical devices they are.
