Hey i was hitting my vape and left it on for about 4 mins and the damn thing started to sound like it was boiling, so i ran over and unplugged it and the whole box was hot and it was smoking and shit....its fine now but if i let it cool off do u think its still safe to use or are there chemicals and all that bullshit in it now?
Well, I think that the chemicals from the overheating is the least of your problems. There is obviousily something wrong with your vape. Probably a short or something. I would have someone who knows electrical shit to look at it.
i just popped her open and checked her out....no viible burns or anything. Its a really simple, cheap, most likely chinese cheap design...ya. I feel like no matter what the materials used isnt healthy at all so...
With all of the great information about vapes both here as well as at fuckcombustion.com, it boggles my mind why people keep buying shit vapes like this, especially when great vapes can be had at 100 bucks and below. Besides the toxic crap that could be in these vapes, they can also potentially burn your house down. One more time. DON'T BUY CHINESE MADE KNOCK-OFFS. If you want to go cheap, get yourself a Magic Flight Launch Box or a VaporGenie.
The Da Buddha as highest temp WILL burn no matter what. If you got a cheap Chinese vape then it could contain dangerous chemicals to begin with! I had a vaporbros before my Da Buddha(DBV) and this is a LOT better in every way!
It would burn the weed for sure. But the dabudda unit won't start smoking like ops or be damaged. Certainly not in 4 minutes...

..how much did you spend on it..if you dont mind me asking? vaporbros.dbv.mflb.vaporgenie are all under 200. might want to save up and check fc forums to find something that will suit you better.
threw down 100 on that thing :/. i ripped from it last night (hooked it up to bong...kinda cool looking) and it works but idk if i trust it...
I wouldnt use it, and 100 is NOT a lot for a vaporizer. Next time, do your research! on fuckcombsution.com so you choose a SAFE, reliable unit thats right for you! Good luck. If you want another whip type unit, the Da Buddha(DBV) and the Silver Surfer(SSV) are the best in that department, hands down.
