Vape cartridges make me cough.

    To preface, I'm a seasoned smoker. Even when I first started smoking I rarely coughed because I never inhale more than I know I can take. Seems reasonable. However my plug got these vape cartridges, the typical 510 thread types that you fill. They're all the same brand though, manufactured by what seems to be Extrinsic Ambitions. They're great carts, and I get plugged in for a good deal. Only issue is they make me cough. Like a lot, it's actually a bit worrying. I've vaped before but rarely, however I don't think coughing was this bad with the other brands. What should I do? What does this mean?

    I think it means that brand is not for you. If you can't smoke them without coughing, what good are they? unless you can handle the cough they're not a good deal. Good luck.
    Some of them make me cough, too.

    To keep it a buck, I'm kind of stuck with these until I can get another supplier or go to a recreational state. Or get a medicinal card but that's a lot of work and not guaranteed. To keep my reply simple I can deal with the cough, it's annoying though I gotta take small hits.

    I don't know how they made it. It's apparently from a dispensary in Oklahoma. So I know they're legit, I hear they're cheap tho. My bubbler attachment fixed it tho. Next time I'll get flower though. 20221227_060504.jpg

    Im just going off your description. Refillable tanks from any dispo or person are suspect. And doesn't matter if you are confident that the dispo is legit... none of them have your best interest in mind. They're all crooks! Your best choice for a tank would be a ccell with the oil co2 extracted with cannabis terps, not the famous all natural terps. And stay clear of the stlllyz brand . What a ripoff! If you can just grow your own flower. You'll know exactly what is in it. The pride that comes from growing your own is off the charts. I know carts have there place, like doing a tune up in Walmart . Lol. I hope you find what you are looking for!

    I switched from a cheapo brand (don’t remember the brand) to a Dr Dabber Ghost.
    Seems to heat slower and with practice I rarely cough. Old one Swale maybe, tore up my throat.
    This may not solve your problem, then it might.

    When I first started using weed regularly, I would cough more with cartridges and pens than anything else. Even a heavy bong rip that had me choking with eyes and nose streaming liquid was nothing compared to the constant dry cough that came from carts. It got better over time, but I don't tend to use carts anymore. If I'm gonna vape it'll be flower that converts into AVB I can put on popcorn and get high on later.
    Good luck with everything though! Hope you find something that works for you.

    I ended up getting some flower. The water filtration helps a lot though. I improved the design a bit. 20221231_154547.jpg
