Vape Cartridge - Strange Color - Is it safe to Use (Pic included)

Discussion in 'Cannabis Consumption Q&A & Tips' started by CannibusGuy, Jan 6, 2020.

So I got 3 Vape Cartridges from somebody.

    1 Looked Normal Color.
1 Looked a little on the Darker side (Red/Brown).
1 is very very Dark and Two Tone (This one is in the Pic with a Regular Looking Vape Cartridge).

Every Vape Cartridge that I have ever seen looks like the Bottom Cartridge in the Pic.

But the Other One in the Pic has this Strange Two-Tone Coloration.

    Is it Safe to Use?

Are some Strains Darker than Others?

  2. Is it Safe and Normal for the Strain?
Is the Darker Color Meaning that it is Contaminated with that Vitamin E- Acetate?
The Third thing I thought of was that maybe Cartridges get Darker as they Age?

But I have no Idea this are just Theories as I am new to Marijuana.

Two of them Came in this Packaging (The Normal One and the Darkest looking Two-Tone One that is in the very first picture at the top of the page).

The third one came by itself with no packaging.

I used the regular one that came in this packaging that looked normal color.

I didn't notice anything wrong with it.

These all came from Michigan if that helps.

  6. Get real cartridges and toss those that you have. It’s not worth it if you’re questioning here on a forum.
All anyone here can do is offer an opinion or guess. Why put your respiratory health at risk when you won’t get the truth about them from a forum? It’s too simple to get medical vapes, or good bud.

  7. I am not going to use it.

But I do want to know the reasoning for that color so I can educate people that may run into the same problem I do and if somebody tries to sell it to me again I will tell them why it is bad.

Any information you may have is greatly appreciated.

  8. Two different substances separating from each other. That’s probably what’s causing it, it’s not something normally seen in a legit cartridge.

  9. So you think that it was Originally the usual Golden Color then overtime turned Dark?

    So not Vitamin E-Acetate?

Would it be safe to use?

If it is safe would it get you Less High?

Has anybody actually tried a Cartridge this Color?

    If so How was it?

  10. Nobody here knows whether it’s Vit E acetate, whether it safe to use or not, what the original color was, how high it will get you, or if any cartridges that were similar to yours are safe.
Just toss the freakin thing. Or take a chance just to get high. Is getting high really worth jeopardizing your health. If so, enjoy..!!
