So somethings up with my short term and for the life of me I can't remember the name of a band I heard last night. My apologies for the extreme lack of information and wild guesses, but I'm sure you've all been there before. The situation is as follows; I was with some friends last night, one of whom resides in the great state of CO. She was playing us a video of a drive through the mountains and there was some chill as hell music coming through the sound in the car. It sounded like the kind of music that would have a lot of really devoted fans but you'd have to look far and wide to find them. Almost Shpongle like but without the worldly chaos. Now, she did mention a name and a flag came up in my memory of a similar (or same) name mentioned in a recent thread on GC, but damned if I can remember what it is. My closest guess is Basket Face This is so frustrating.
Shit, yeah I probably could, and she'd probably straight up tell me again. But I don't have her number, plus shes back in Colorado. And I really just want something new and deep to listen to in the car. I'm finally starting to tire of all the Tool and Shpongle and Infected Mushroom and King Crimson and. In the spirit of just being able to survive through to another day, I'd really dig a new music suggestion that'll shake my bones.
