Uvula swollen because of smoking weed?

    For the past year or so during my days of smoking bong rip after rip and smoking various other methods, I have had the annoying feeling of constantly having to swallow. The other day I figured out why. I noticed while looking in my mouth that my uvula (punching bag in back of throat) was big and actually chilling on my tongue while touching it.

    For the past year and this summer I will have to keep uncomfortably swallowing. Now I realize it is because of my swollen uvula, which is a common symptom when having it swollen. It also got so bad where it fucked up my breathing because instead of taking breaths I would swallow.

    So, does smoking cause this? I have looked online and found many different cases that people have said smoking or smoking weed will cause their uvula to swell up and for them to get a sore throat. So why does this happen to me everytime? fuck stopping smoking weed, is there a way to prevent this somehow or extremely lessen it?

    People online were saying its because the smoke causes the uvula irritation because it burns it? wtf i just need help here with this stupid little problem thanks if anybody can help out. and does this happen 2 anyone else?

    I read this thread because I confused uvula with urethra...I was mistaken.

    Anyway, I couldn't tell you what was wrong as I am no doctor. It could be what your smoking method is. Do you normally smoke joints or pipes? Been smoking any very dry, harsh smoking bud? That's my only guess is that maybe you burned it.

    Everytime I smoke my uvula starts too burn and swell up why is that will it ever stop and how long should I wait to smoke Will i Ever Go back to Smokin regular Like i Used Too ?

    Happend to me once when I threw up super hard lol. It was freaking me out seein it sit on my tounge.

    Id check with a doctor if its a regluar thing...

    you probaly need a break , try edibles or vaporizer for a while.

    Hey! I too faced the same situation. I had only smoked joints though. Can you please tell me how long it took for the uvula to recover. Thanks in advance.
