  1. I am somewhat new to growing and I wanted to know do UV lights work for growing? And if they do ho well do the work compared to other growing lights?

  2. What do you mean no it wont work at all?

  3. Woah, what? UV lights don't work? I thought those were the only kind that DID work...

  4. Hehe.

But for your answer. No they wont work. Use flos or HIDS only.

  5. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.

UV light spectrum is above 770-780 mn.......plant life needs VERY little of this and I mean VERY little and thats only for disease control........MINIMAL UV is best for indoor growing....the indoor plants dont need as much protection from the elements.

    Research light spectrums..........key word....RESEARCH......RESEARCH......RESEARCH
just remember two words.....SKIN CANCER...its not just for people...good thing is plants can reflect UV.....
