I plan on spraying one of the plant with STS and the other side with CS. Is it ok to do it this way? Also my CS spray is 30PPM. How often do you spray with CS?
yeah stick with the STS its a long time since I did this back then ppm was above 50, and 2x times a day below 50.ppm is suggested thats the health one that don't turn you blue ...its a real weak solution you may not want to spray the whole plant just the end of one lower branch is good
Thannks for the reply Vee. I will use just the STS. How often should I spray STS? I have read so many things with different spray scheduleas. I will be putting the STS on an indica dom Monster Girl Scout Cookies.
take a couple of hours here: Tony's silver thiosulfate notes then you are complete ...lol good luck post back ur results cheers
I've used both. CS lasts a very long time. STS once mixed only lasts about a month. Using both doesn't make any sense. They both block the production of ethylene within the plant. STS doesn't antagonize the plant in the same way as CS so your plant appears healthier all the way through its life cycle.
It is generally okay to use STS and CS on different sides of the plant, as long as you're careful with the concentration and timing. STS (Silver Thiosulfate) and CS (Colloidal Silver) both block ethylene and can promote female flowers or prevent male flowers. However, it's important to ensure that you're not over-spraying or mixing the two directly. For the CS spray at 30 PPM, you should typically apply it every 3-4 days, but always follow the specific guidelines for the plant you're working with to avoid stress or damage.
