So much information yet so little ambition to find it....The search bar is there for a reason. What are you asking, exactly? What materials can be utilized as soil amendments in this growing paradigm? The biggest issue with what you ask is that 99% of what we do relies on preparation ahead of time to make this thing work...amendments take time to become available to the plants and the soil needs time to balance the microorganisms and chemical activities that occur or are increased because of those amendments.
Do you have any compost at home? Stinging nettles, comfrey, yarrow or alfalfa locally available to you? Could always make a worm bin and process your paper, fruit and veggie waste into valuable vermicompost. Eggs shells take quite a bit of time to break down unless you grind them very fine, but they work well as a source of calcium.
Thanks for the knowledge guys. Plants are doing great got some soil cooking for my clones transplant. Didn't think they would be as potent with out the many bottles of nutes i used for years. Well I've spent a fraction of what I have in the last on this grow and two weeks in to flower have loads of trichs on this strawberry cough.
Thanks for the tips gimmick i can get alphalpha and singing nettles the idea for the work bin is great gonna make one so I can screw on earthworm castings
You can add molasses when you water or add it to your aact if you brew. It is mainly a microbe food. Milk is often diluted with water and used as a foliar spray to combat powdery mildew, something that MJ should not have a problem with.
I've been told that milk spray can kill bugs as will don't know how true it is been mixing it in my follower spray rotation and they are doing great don't know if the milk has any thing to do with it
