Hello. Iv been using a marshydro 300w for my plantand had no luck with them streching. Im wondering what cfl would be good for seedlings till after veg stage then using my led Il be buying off amazon
I'm not sure I follow your question... Typically "stretch" is something we wish to avoid and we do so by using ample amount of light and by keeping the light source as close as possible. Why would you want to reduce the amount of light in veg to create more stretch in your plant? If anything, I would probably add some CFL's to your Marshydro setup and increase the overall light throughout the grow! ~GHG~
Bushy is good. Stretchy is bad. It's all about internodal space. If your nodes are tight you'll end up with buds stacking right on top of each other. Lengthy internodal spacing will give you loose popcorn buds. Either way they add up respectively but people generally intentionally go for bushy to conserve space and allow even light distribution. http://forum.grasscity.com/index.php?/topic/1383387-2-Bagseed-Northern-Lights-Auto-250w-CFL
