Using Banana as fertilizer?

  1. I am wondering if the use of banana as fertilizer during flowering could be beneficial? I have heard that banana peels are good if placed on soil though would it not be a good idea to mix blended banana into water to spread it throughout soil.

  2. It can be but not near as beneficial as a synthetic....you actually need to extract the potassium from the non digestible fiber the peel is made of....i see mold happening if you just throw peels on your soil. Puree heck no.....juicer MAYBE

  3. Yea I'm thinking of blending up a mixture of peels and rainwater

  4. Also does anyone know of any other resourceful organic fertilizers?

  5. Crap, fish, vitamin b, potassium and phosphorus.....potash....i use bottles of stuff though
