Using artificial with natural sunlight

    Hey everyone new grower here I have a question for you experienced guys. I have four girls rn which are in veg. Growing outdoors in Cali, but because of the way my balcony is set up I’m only receiving a solid 6-8 hrs of direct sunlight from about 7 am-3pm and that’s not including shitty cloudy days. Could I supplement the rest of the hrs with an artificial LED. To complete there 12+ hrs so they can be big and healthy.
    I will not be moving them in and out of my place. So the artificial light will go on as soon as 3:30 hits then I’ll calculate the time till about 12 hrs then it shuts off

    Hi.
    That should work well but it will highlight the fact that you have weed growing and may attract thieves or cops.

    Thank you for your fast response, I’m about 3 stories up and only way getting into to my apartment is past four or five doors which are all coded.

    Good thing they don't make drones that can lift weed plants...or maybe they do. lol

    Hahaha you know if that happened it’s okay. They needed the girls more than I did . At that point A for effort !
