im growing in the basement so space is not a problem, if I put my 600HPS on a light mover, so it moves the light from one end of the basement to the other, and i organize the plants in one line, will that give more light to the plants? i'm wondering about the constant light movement of light, the plant getting light and then waiting some time before it gets it again when the mover comes back, would that be ok for the plant?
You dont want to use the light mover to cover a huge area light movers are used to improve coverage area by a reasonable amount not to go say 10 feet back and forth and leave some plants in the dark for half the time... A light mover would typically cover a 5-6 foot area and the advantage of this is better light distribution, spots that dont normally get light when stationary will get light when it is constantly moving and bulk up on buds.
