  1. Armstrong Facing Loss of 7 Tour De France Titles

 WTF is these people's problem? Is this really the type of society we want for our children? They push him and push him until he says enough is enough, he's sick of fighting, so they take that as admission of guilt? fuck these people!

  2. Just because he had cancer doesn't mean he has the right to cheat. I think it's a great society when cheaters are set straight and will teach children that even if you get away with cheating, it'll come back to bite you in the ass.

Good on them for pursuing it past social norm. I'm pretty sure the reason it was overlooked in the first place by testers was the fact that he had cancer, which is a ridiculous reason because doping would still give him an unfair advantage. It's not like he used it just to 'catch up' to normal. He used it to win seven times and it's right to strip him of his titles.

  3. What exactly did he do to cheat? This is the first i'm hearing of this. And I can't move past page 1 of that article.

  4. I'd think they would be stripping away other titles and ripping away private funds and property of all the major football and baseball team rosters....

since the mid 40's they have used drugs and doping in major league sports...but "that's different" say the hardcore fans...

meh...I gave up on watching sports when they whined about $500k/year salaries not being enough to live on...

  5. doping...he put BACK the red cells of his blood...that he had taken out and stored....all it does is allow more oxygen to be transported...

I guess if he was shooting up some steroids while making a few million bucks a year under a contract, this wouldn't even be a concern...pro sports 'sure is funny' that way...:devious:

  6. He's never failed a drug test. The man is a great athlete, a cancer survivor, and an inspriation to many. Fuck the Tour De France, he should start running his own cycling events - if he hasn't done so already.

  7. Yeah, but I've got two exceptions to that.

    1. I'll go see any team play so long as the tickets are free to me because there's usually booze and weed involved.

    2. Philadelphia Union games.

  8. What drug is he being accused of doing?

None, he always tested clean on every drug test they ever gave him.

But apparently they are referring to:
Blood doping - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

But so what if he did this? It's just his own blood, so it's not like he's injecting actual steroids!

  10. next, weight lifters won't be allowed to build muscle mass...

  11. I seriously don't understand all the hero worship I've been seeing all over the internet regarding this story in comments. Look up the evidence, he is NOT innocent. Left and right it seems people are quick to defend him on the basis of how many titles he's won, how much money he's raised, or how many people consider him inspirational or some type of hero. Blood doping is far from the only thing he's been accused of. In addition to blood doping, there are many eye witnesses that were willing to testify on Armstrong's taking of: Erythropoietin (EPO), testosterone, Human Growth Hormone, Corticosteroids (e.g., cortisone) (if you really do your research you'll find he actually failed ONE drug test for this, then got a doctor's note to clear it), and saline and plasma infusions.

Wake the fuck up people, you're making yourselves look retarded. Fuck this guy, he doesn't deserve your respect.

    Fuckin' pumpkin-eaters, man.

  12. You said it yourself in your post, he's been accused of these things. No one's proven a damn thing. And a person saying I saw so-n-so do this or that, that's nothing more than hearsay. In this country, people are supposed to have proof before they condemn a person.

As far as I'm concerned, I really don't follow cycling at all, if he didn't DO A DRUG to enhance his athletic performance, then they have no right to strip him of his accomplishments.

  13. Not to mention the fact that these were Tour De France races, the USADA has no jurisdiction over the results of an international sport. But of course the American pro-empirists will try to claim they do.

I guess his real crime was just simply because he was such a success. With the rise of socialism, everyone needs to be brought to the same level, so that means we take from the successful individuals and give to those that just won't invest a little time, energy or effort into bettering themselves on their own. Next thing you know they're going to try to strip Michael Phelps' 22 medals away from him because he was photographed hitting a bong that once.

  14. He did many drugs. Yes, at this point he's only been accused. He has chosen to not face I actually felt bad for him when I read the headlines, but I've spent quite a bit of time actually looking at the facts, read what the evidence was. Given all the information that's out there, you'd have to be pretty dumb to believe he is innocent. You said yourself you don't know much about it. No one's PROVEN anything, because he's decided to stop contesting the claims. I encourage you to do a little bit more digging.

As far as I'M concerned...the guy's a lying dbag. Yes, he's raised half a billion for cancer, do you think he honestly gave a real fuck before he lost his marble?

  15. *dafuq???

Dude, I would have a lot of respect for that man if he did all that shit after coming back from cancer ON HIS OWN. He just didn't. It does not surprise me in the least that you back the creationist Ron Paul.

  16. Do you even read what the fuck you're saying :confused:

How the FUCK do you know if he "did many drugs" as you have claimed. Oh wait! you dont! and you still believe this??

And then you're hating on rp for being a creationist

  17. I will address both things right now. Yes, as an atheist I think Ron Paul is foolish for being a creationist. I only believe in that which can be supported by evidence. Of course I can't KNOW that Lance actually cheated unless he finally comes clean, or allows the trial to continue. But like a rational person, I can look at the evidence against him, and it's very damning.

He's trying to influence people into thinking everyone's out to get him (a VERY common strategy from guilty athletes in the past, btw), then chooses to stop trying to have his name cleared, in all likelihood because he knows he is one guilty motherfucker. And I don't include either of these things as part of the evidence I referred to.

  18. I'll start by saying they should definitely not strip him of any titles.

With that being said Lance DEFINITELY took steroids. EVERYONE in cycling takes them...if you arent doping in cycling you can't compete. Period.

Dopings so rampant in cycling that you seriously mine as well not even race to win if you're cycling clean.

  19. that is the way our country works, crooked and they will push you and drag it out until you admit full guilt. #fuckamerica

If steroids provide such an incredible benefit to physical performance...

Shouldn't we be looking into how to use them safely and effectively, rather than banning them...?
