Well I do think videos like this go a long way to illustrate the nature and actions of some of the troops in Iraq, I am also torn a little. Keep in mind for every sadistic soldier we see on clips teasing impoverished children, laughing at the death of a human, etc. there are a hundred other soldiers deeply committed to their duty and are aware of the vital role they have. Don't loose sight of that.
agreed 100 %, i mean we've seen what can happen to a war veteran once there back, there psyche is all screwed up and at first i let out a laugh but in all reality that is bad news, i duno how he could do that, ah well....just gotta be thankful america isnt like that and we arent running are ass off for a drink of water
these are the soldiers that need to be dishonorably discharged. They're ruining what we're trying to fix. These kids are going to see us as assholes and be anti-american for their whole life
If i ever see that man, i swear on my life ill kick his ass! I know there are tons of honerable men risking their lives for their country, and im very proud of them. I dont agree with the war, but still respect and admire the men risking their lives for people they dont even know. It's dicks like that that ruin the name of out military and country. That poor little boy could be starving or dieng of thirst right now...
I am in no way condoning what those soldiers did, but I'll tell you what...you go over there and fight against an enemy that you can't see, against attacks that you can't defend against, fighting for your fellow man to make it home alive to see his family and not some fucked up president's agenda. Imagine with me if you will walking on a patrol down the streets of baghdad. A little kid comes up to you and offers you a glass of coca-cola with ice in it. You can't take it however, because some of the Insurgents are using the population against the Americans. That ice in the cup is more than likely maybe one ice cube mixed in with glass shards. A young woman with a long robe approaches you yelling in arabic about something. You must raise your weapon and keep her a safe distance from you because you're not sure if she's loaded with explosives. It's a shitty situation that our troops have been put in.. just think about that
no kidding, but my point is....it's easy to say "oh this is your tax dollars at work, our soldiers are doing shitty things, blah blah"... but until you've been there and experienced the feeling that comes from knowing and accepting that your death could come at any moment from any direction.... you really can't speak to that
yes, so because they were put in a shitty situation they get to tease all the thristy children that they want. seems to make logical sense to me.
