Acuerdan proyecto que legaliza cultivo para uso personal

El Frente Amplio (FA) acordÃ³ un proyecto de ley para regular el consumo de marihuana. El nuevo texto se ajustÃ³ entre el Movimiento de ParticipaciÃ³n Popular (MPP), el Partido Socialista y el Nuevo Espacio (NE).

La iniciativa, que serÃ¡ aprobada el martes 26 de abril por la bancada del FA en Diputados, permite la plantaciÃ³n, el cultivo y la cosecha asÃ como la industrializaciÃ³n y el comercio de hasta ocho plantas de cannabis por hogar.

Sin perjuicio de ello, "se entenderÃ¡ como cantidad destinada al consumo personal, hasta 25 gramos de marihuana", segÃºn se establece en el artÃculo 3 del proyecto de ley al que accediÃ³ El PaÃs.

AdemÃ¡s la norma le confiere al Poder Ejecutivo la facultad "de reglamentar las disposiciones y los mecanismos de acceso a las semillas, el que siendo destinado a plantaciones de consumo personal "se considerarÃ¡ en todos los casos como actividad lÃcita".

El proyecto prevÃ© que el ciudadano que produzca materia prima o sustancias a partir de la marihuana, que causen dependencia psÃquica o fÃsica, serÃ¡ castigado con una pena de 20 meses de prisiÃ³n a diez aÃ±os de penitenciarÃa.

QuedarÃ¡ exento de responsabilidad el que "transportare, tuviere en su poder, fuere depositario, almacenare o poseyere una cantidad destinada a su consumo personal con arreglo a la evaluaciÃ³n de la prueba de acuerdo a las reglas de la sana crÃtica".

Por otra parte, otro de los artÃculos agregados en el nuevo texto establece que "el Poder Ejecutivo velarÃ¡ porque, tanto a nivel pÃºblico como privado, se brinde atenciÃ³n y tratamiento a todas las personas con problemas de adicciÃ³n a las sustancias reguladas en la presente ley, que asÃ lo solicitaren".

Asimismo, se establece la creaciÃ³n de una comisiÃ³n bajo la Ã³rbita del Ministerio de Salud PÃºblica (MSP), la cual en un plazo de dieciocho meses a partir de entrada en vigencia de la ley deberÃ¡ presentar un informe evaluatorio de los efectos de la norma.

AdemÃ¡s entre otras funciones, dicha comisiÃ³n se encargarÃ¡ de desarrollar "actividades tendientes a mejorar la imagen social de quienes consumen las sustancias antes referidas"

hi guys, this is my first post in here. Sorry about any mistake, im brazilian and english is my secundary idiom.

So i just received this notice, and i want to share woth you.
The text says that Uruguai will allow 8 plants per home, and will consider 26gr as personal consumption.
Thats an awesome new, since im from Brasil and this debate is getting form.

Would like to see how they go forward with this part. They'll just be like: "We have found evidence to support the notion that all the cool kids really do do it..."
