We are 29 days into flowering of our Strawberry Haze... up to this point, everything has gone well, and looked great... In the past week, though, i have noticed that the white hairs on some of the plants are starting to turn orange... there is nothing unnatural looking about this, except that i thought they normally dont begin to change until near the end of flowering. I know that the hairs are not the standard by which to judge the maturity, but i was under the impression that they should all still be white. Most plants are either not effected by this, or have instances on each nug... in a few instances, it's only the tips of the pistils that are turning..... if this sounds familiar to anyone please let me know if this is normal or if we should be checkin anything out... im pretty positive there are no light leaks at all, we may have a slight overheating problem but its not very bad. Any help appreciated, thanks very much
ive only had 1 grow but id say u really have nothing to worry about do u have a micro to check the trichs
Only reason that the pistils would start turning orange/brown at the 30 days stage is if they get accidentally pollenated, especially a haze hybrid which takes much longer to finish. It's way too early even for an indica to have pistils turning color on you so soon.
its quite natural for some hairs to start changing colour even only 29 days into flower. not a problem mate. all the best M.
its normal bro. pistols turning amber is not a big deal, even with the haze strain. amber hairs doesnt mean much of anything, what u need to look for is that first amber trichome. a lot of strains have early pistol coloration, but what u will probably notice is new white pistols coming out. u should be just fine mate!
