So I planted some seeds in those little peat pellets you get from the local garden shop. After just 48 hours I was thrilled to see the first two of them sprout. But then last night I noticed bit of a problem. One of the little babies was doing just fine - first two leaves came in and she (hopefully it's a girl lol) was a lovely green color. The other one, however, is growing upside down. The root is about an inch above the soil. Close inspection revealed that a third plant has sprouted and is growing sideways - the root is growing out the side of the jiffy pot. So I guess I've got a couple of mentally retarded sprouts. What do I do with them? Do I a) throw them out cause they're obviously too stupid to live? or b) leave em alone cause they'll eventually figure things out for themselves, or c) gently break open the peat pellet and replant them right sid up?
