Upside down plant

Discussion in 'Advanced Growing Techniques' started by Treaddies, Nov 15, 2007.

  1. I have been thinking of growing a plant upside down.
I know i sound like a total stoner, but I think it may have some physiological advantages

Before i start pursuing the subject, does anyone have any experience or plant knowledge that could give me some insight?

I have an idea about an upside down mother that produces quick and strong rooting clones.

  2. Sure you can do it folks do it with tomatoes (Outside) all the time...but its a mess.
Water runs down past the stem and all over the plant...thats not a big deal with veggies.
Good Luck...post some pics when ya' git set-up

  3. What about that thing that rotates your plants around a central light? I forget what its called but its the same concept right?

  4. roto grow is what its called i think its a ebb and flow so it drains when and starts drying before its upside down looks like a really cool system for a sog but your going to need alot of mothers to fill 300 plants lol
