Well everything is still going strong. Had to work out a few issues. Being this was my first soil grow, coming over from hydro... I was over watering, and thats an understatement. I came up with a nice mixture of soil, perlite, and hydroton. I used about an inch and a half layer of hydroton at the bottom of the containers (2gal) for drainage. I added 2 more 300watt CFLs (they are huge!) with reflectors, each set was about $35 from Lowe's. Lights are on 18/6 and just finished fimming 2 days ago. Temps hover at about 85-87 and humidity is up at 40%... I have a dehumidifier for flowering time. I started a bunch of vegetables as you will see in the pics, just for indoor growing experience. What do you think?
just thaught id mention that ive always heard that the wire on the socket is supposed to be pointing up not down(dont know if its fire hazzard or bulb longevity), dont even know if it makes a difference, but i play it safe and keep the wire pointed up
I was gonna change that today... but every time I come home the lights are hot (so I dont want to mess with them), then I smoke, then I forget to rotate it. It would take a whole 30 seconds to do haha.
oh alright makes sense thank you lol also anyone else having problems posting a new thread. it never lets me
