  1. **Postin the rest of the pics in the response to this thread**

Here are a lot of pics of our 9 Straw. Haze females and 2 bagseed unknowns (the smaller two, they're obvious)...

I typed some of this in the old post, but for any of you who aren't familiar:

    400w HPS w/ Hortilux bulb
    320w CFL supplimentation @ around 3000k spectrum
    Soil is 50/50 ---- Pro-Mix/FFOF
    Organic "Botanicare" nutes
Distilled water, w/ nutes, about every 4 days
Recently tranplanted to buckets seen in pics (maybe 5-6 days ago)

    Questions we need help with:

    1) If we want to yield 10-11 oz (or more, of course) from these 9-11 plants, are they large enough to begin flowring in the coming week, or would we need much more time? I know this isnt an exact science, just lookin for general help.

    2) Considering that our light units are more suited to the flowring stage anyway (HPS light, 3000k CFLs) does this mean that we can expect them to REALLY take off in the first few weeks of flowring?

    3) Does it appear that we suffer from any kind of stretching? If you look at the 9 plants, some appear to have cola's that have more densely-located budsites than others do... and futher, on 2 or 3 of them, there are secondary branches that equal or exceed the height of the main cola. On these secondaries, it also appears that stretching has taken place, but i'm not sure why-- our HPS is always around 18 inches above the plants... In the pics, most photos of specific colas or secondaries have my hand behind them, so look for that....

    4) Should we continue to LST the main cola so that its top NEVER goes higher than any other branches on the plant??

I know that it is not something that requires perfection, or an EXACT plan, i just want to get the best advice possible b/c, hey, if you're going to do it, you may as well do it as well as possible...

P.S. if any of them look a little weird (like having a wall of fanleaves on one side of the plant, etc, this is just because i like to bend fanleaves around to allow the HPS to land on the secondary growth, so just take that into account)

  7. Looking great man. I need to get some mylar for my grow room. They dont carry it at home depot or lowes out here ( fuckers). I am going to have to order it online. I am going to wait for a couple of weeks though. How tall are they and for how long are you vegging?

  8. When ever the plant begins to flower it will double in size so if you flower now, you should easily yeild 1-2 OZ. per plant. But due to this size expansion of your plants you may want to LST the taller branches to keep your canopy even for best light distribution.

As for your light question your plants may actually take longer to show flowers because you have been using a flowering spectrum though the plants whole life they will be less receptive to the schedule change with out a spectrum change as well. When you use Metal Halide for Veg then you switch to HPS the change of spectrum and light schedule causes the plant to go into instant flower for reproduction purposes. Using this method, In most cases I see flowers 3-5 days after I switch to 12/12. you should see flowers in 7-10 days with ideal conditions.

If you ask me you are ready to flower, In fact I think you should flower now to save a lil work space, you will be amazed how much room plants consume when they flower. 1 day before you switch to 12/12 give the plants a good feeding with your Flowering Nutrients the next day turn off your lights for 24 hours not a second less. Then switch your lights to 12/12, keep a close watch for flowers when you finally notice flowers, feed again at half strength and then full strength 3 day after and continue every 3-5 days until you reach 30 days. When entering your 30th day of flower while the lights are on, give your plants a light flush about 3 gallons per pot, allow pots to drain properly. 3 days after the flush give your plants a feeding with your Veg and your Flower nutes both mixed at half strength. 3 days later feed with Flower nutes at Full strength continue this every 3 days for 9 days, By this time you should begin to flush slowly 2 weeks before harvest. To do this just use plain water for very watering for 2 weeks every 3 days, until harvest. This is a great Flowering schedule I learned several years ago hopefully it will help you as it has for me. Good Luck Live Long and Smoke Well.

  9. it wont dissapoint u, its a great smoke & flavor. if its got haze in the name youll get lifted.:smoking:

  10. thanks hashmouf... very helpful, as usual. We'll definitely use a flowering plan as close to that as possible. i'll keep you updated with some new pics by next week
