I posted about a month ago that I got a new job waiting tables, and figured I'd post how it's going. Started about a month ago, but first I had to go through a week of horribly boring training. I've been taking tables for almost three weeks now, and have managed to pay my mom back over 800 bucks! Not to mention I've had enough cash for my cigarettes, weed, and fast food every now and then. The job is awesome, it's a lot of work when it gets busy, but the money is good and everyone there is awesome.
Congrats, good to hear. I'm currently looking for a new job, I just got fired about a month ago from Jack in the Box.
I've worked in restaurants and yea the tips can rock, but I just couldn't stand the rude people who snap their fingers and such at me like I was some kind of dog.. but yea now I work at a candy store, so it's okay But I'm glad you like your job! It can be hard to find a job you actually don't mind doing.
