thanks every1 for all the replys!! im glad you like them and cant see anything wrong. im planning on harvesting on day 56 so i still have 21 days left of growth. that pic is mainly of 1 plant, anyone have a rough idea of my yield, its getting so close!!! i was told 2-4oz from that 1 plant before so im hoping i havnt slipped from that. ive also got 3 jack herer in flower and some white rhino and snow white in veg. damn, this hobby rox!!!! thanks again peace arthur
well done, looks great for your first grow, nice and healthy............as for yild, hard to say from pics, i'd guess maybe 1-3oz per plant depending, they'll lost about 50-80% of their weight when dried.............as for harvesting, invest in a good 30x microscope, and tell when it's ready by checking the colour of the trichomes...........do a search at the city here, there's a good guide to telling when it's time, with photos of the diffrent stages of the trichomes, for the best effect that YOU personally want..................well done.................Peace out.............Sid
i bought a 30x microscope 2 days ago lol, after looking at this time i have part cloudy, part clear. ive been told that these r old and i shudnt even be looking until week 7. well, im planning on harvesting on day 56, week 7 ok? heres a pic of the plant at day 28, bit old, nearly a week, but u can see it more clearly
yeah i'd wait a while too.........but check quite regularly under the microscope, as the plats usually ready when it'd ready, most times are just guidelines, also if timed right, the plant usualy puts on a lot of weight towards the last week, like a last effort of bud production, as the pistols are retracting back into the pods, the give more resin, more stickness...............good luck and keep us posted how it goes.........Peace out.....Sid

hello again, im back. ill take some update pics tonight i just want to ask a quick question. im planning on reducing the nutrients over 1-2 weeks at the end of the grow instead of a week with no nutrient, ive heard this gives better yield. so im planning on reducing on next friday, which will be day 42, so id harvest on day 49. i dont want to b caught to late and all the trichs dieing off while im reducing the feed. the thing is, day 49 is only 7 weeks, and this plant is said to be 8-9. do u suggest i wait a week, or shud i just post with a trich update next friday and hope i get a reply in time. the question realy is shud i reduce next friday or the week after? i checked the trichs last night and they were mostly cloudy. could someone plz give me some advice, somebody whos done this before and is good at planning the harvest time. thanks alot peace arthur
just post an updated pic, we'll help you out, if i'm not here, someone will be..........i persoannly allways flush the last 7-10 days, but if you want to try it, sure go for it, but you may risk still having chemicals in the weed.........nothing tastes worse.........but it's trial and error, whatever suits you best.............Peace out...........Sid i usually look at the trichs, and when i feel they will be right in say 1-2 weeks then i start reducing and flushing...........

your gonna need a macro on your digital camera to take the pic........and use a high powered flash.........also if grown indoors, take the pic in the growroom, just turn off any fans as they distort the pics...........you need real close pics, like taken from nearly inches away with the macro..............looks like it's got a while a few weeks left at the mo, it's on what day 37?........ as for growing seeds,just burst open a pod, it may be full of resin, as some strains grow large pods, well larger than most.............Peace out...........Sid
i cant afford a macro atm, my ol man has one and a gr8 camera, but hes a bit protective of it, grrr. anyway, im gonna check the trichomes with my microscope tonight. i think ill also start the reduce tonight, so ill b harvesting at day 52, i hope this sounds ok, if it doesnt please let me know. ill post tonight about the trichomes. thanks once again sidious K+!
it's not really if it sounds o.k......it's just ready when it's ready, i'd say wait the 8 weeks if they're saying it's a 8-9 weeks flowering strain..........but some people like to harvest slightly early to get an up-high feel, while some harvest a bit later, to get a deep stone...........i know it's not foolproof, but in general 70-80% slightly brown pistols is a good guide............have you got the pics to comapare the magnification to?............it's here on the boards somewhere............Peace out.........Sid
ok ill w8 until friday to do my reduce. ive got a problem with a few seedlings. i had this with the first lot i grew aswell. there all in rockwool and there leaves are going all wavy. do you know what this means. on 1 i have 2 slight brown spots. cud it be its to cold and damp for them? as the rockwool there in hasnt dryed out at all and its pretty cold atm where i am. im using my heated propagator for 2 clones i took, which have totally wilted and literally fell over. i hope they will pick back up. thanks again peace arthur
