Untitled Poem

  1. The trees change their color in the autumn,
and still the man will find himself
in the monotony of recurring surroundings,
just as he was before he met her -
on the day that he first laid eyes on her.

Some beauty in life goes on unnoticed -
subtle things mostly, like the blossoms of Japan
But her laugh was difficult to ignore.
No one could deny the beauty
of the very stars in the sky.

People seem to change with the seasons,
"Today is an adventure. Yesterday is history."
Distressed, his mind yearns for previous hours
    But that was all yesterday...
where is the beauty of yesterday?
