Unpotent Buds?

    I bought an ounce of some herbs from a grower here in my town. But they didn't really get me high, what gives?! When I say didn't get me high, I mean I didn't get the usual "symptoms"

    I basically got high enough to stare off into space for a moment. I didn't get a wave of happiness, I didn't feel any sort of "relaxation" either mind/body. It was a pretty boring high for the whole ounce.

    It's not a question of tolerance either, I hadn't smoked in a great while except for the occasional joint here, bowl there. So it should have gotten be plastered.

    Could it be a case of improperly dried/cured buds? They are from a grower who is a caretaker. They were small buds, orange hairs, and a very earthy smell to them. Kinda sucks I spend $280 on an ounce of meh herbal. I've paid $250 but since this guy was robbed prices went up.

    sounds like you got a case of shitty weed.

    either that or you look like a noob and this guys an asshole... a bad combination, he could have iso'd most of the THC out of the budds and let them redry before selling em to you

    I'm pretty sure you grind the bud to iso it. I think you'd know.

    I think so too, the nugs were very small compared to most nugs I've gotten in bags.

    I would hope I wouldn't have gotten nugs that had been extracted with butane, I didn't notice any funky odors. The only smell was a very earthy smell, and the buds had little orange/red hairs all over.

    Takes longer to iso out the THC without grinding it and it won't do as good of a job but that's why i said most and not all, plus he just said it himself they were small budds so it's still possible, and im not sure if it would leave behind a smell or not after you evaporate and dry it out

    They had to be immature. If you bought an ounce and they were all popcorn, and it was from a grower, he had to have fucked up.

    Lol I've already smoked it all :laughing:, It went fast because of my need to constantly smoke to maintain any sort of high...

    And it's not those legal buds, I live in Montana a Medicinal State, I get my herbal this time from a grower. Next time I think I'll chase down the local stoner, I used to work with him an he's always offering great deals.
