Heres mine Let's just say a man named Dennet is conscripted by the government to do a dangerous job. This job involves radiation, so if his brain goes anywhere near it he will die. Say the govenrment scientists take out his brain and add computer technology to said brain and body, so communication between them was possible. His body is moving arounds under order of his brain, he is self aware and thinking with his brain but perceiving with his body which is on the opposite side of the room. This begs the question, which holds the personality? Who IS Dennet? The brain or body? no matter where you go or what you do, you live your entire life within the confines of your head. i was eating dinner when i saw this old man who appeared to be a bit lonely, possibly returning to this place to remember old experiences. at first i was a bit sorry for him and regretted not sitting with him later, but when my sister said something about a 'lonely man' i said ' a lonely man in a mindful of memories' dunno, but as he was leaving there appeared to be a bit more happiness within himself compared to when he showed up. seems like for whatever reason he came there he got it done. and i figured, although you might be alone in the end, all you can do now is at least make it so you can remember enough things to make it worthwhile
