The strain is cheese My plants are about 5 weeks old. I have two plants and the other one is twice the size at the same age with the same problem with the leaves that is just starting. The leaves are yellowing upwards starting from the very bottom. I just started feeding the plant a week ago (fox farms nutrients) npk around 6-2-2 The medium is miracle grow performance organics It's under a 600w led light (it's 300w using only the veg switch right now) It's between 75 and 80 degrees usually I've been having a constant problem with fungus gnats. Nothing crazy but there's always a few of them flying around. I have no idea what my soil pH. My soil pH meter isn't very accurate. I think it's above 7.0 and I have no idea how to adjust it besides flushing the plant. I water with distilled great value or spring water with a pH around 6.5 I've had multiple problems with the plants being stunted when they were very young. They just started taking off in growth about a week ago when I started feeding but now I'm having some unknown problem, it could be pH lockout but I have no way to tell for sure. All of the sets of new leaves started growing really slow the past 3 days. all of the plants are grown indoors I brought them outside for better lighting
Im a Hydro grower and don't grow in soil so can't speak to much on But I'll speak on what I can. Different Fenotypes(phenotype?) I have no idea how its spelled. different plants of the same strain will grow differently at different rates and suffer from different problems. I've never used Fox farm nutes. make sure your mixing everything correctly and in the correct order. you have an EC/PPM/TDS pen? how strong is the solution your mixing? Again I don't grow in soil but from what I hear people growing weed tend to avoid miracle grow at all costs. what is that light actually pulling from the wall?what brand of led is it? the LED lights can be very misleading. I can't speak on Fungus Gnats (no soil) what is the PH/PPM of your tap water? I think most people don't have a problem with tap water in soil??? again I'm not sure about that I'm sure a soil grower will step in and offer some advice. good luck dude
The pH of my tap water is 7.0 or I would use it but I think that's a little high I was gonna use some better soil but unfortunately that's the best organic stuff I could find near me, usually people don't like miracle grow because it has chemical time release nutrients that burn your plants im just using it because its organic and shouldn't have that issue, it came with fungus gnats and tiny white bugs though lol When I add my nutrients I used 1/4 of the recommended dose to start out with and I plan on gradually raising it as time goes on I don't have a digital ppm pH tester for water I should get one My light is a 600w vivosun light I got from Amazon, the actual wattage is around 300 I think. I've done some research and it's one of the best cheap leds you can get on Amazon I'm a total noob btw I'm just learning as I go and hopefully my next grow I won't have as many problems, I appreciate your advice man
Oh I didn't even say it, your plants look awesome! I'd suggest picking up a PH pen and a TDS pen I've got a couple plants outside in soil that I really don't take to seriously and I've been feeding them full strength and they have been fine with that. when I'm mixing my hydro nutes its always 1/4 strength I've got the same LED light at the moment actually until I change my living arrangement and can upgrade. couple of white widows under it right now
