Hi Friends. Been a bit since i've been here. I did a PC micro grow last time i was around. This will be a test grow of Purple Myzar, Dr. FeelGood and Snow White all by breeder *stitch*. I'll have a few Blue Himalaya in the mix as well because its my favorite strain I will be using 208w of CFL bulbs. The soil is Fox Farm Ocean Forest Pots are 1gal Nutes are Fox Farm Trio- Big Bloom, Grow Big, Tiger Bloom with Grandma's molasses, Epson Salt, Powdered Egg Shells, and some Hydrated Lime Here we go>>> 8-29-12 dropped 3 seeds each of PM, DFG,& SW. Will let them soak for 18hrs then transfer them to a paper towel on a heating pad to germ. I also have 2 BH growing in a 22oz cup in the cab as i have to keep the BH on hand at all times because it helps my wife with her seizures. If she can feel one coming on she will smoke BH and it goes away. If she has a seizure then will smoke after and her recover time from feeling drained, sore, and just totally out of it went from 2 to 3 days down to less than 24hrs I'm going to update every 2 days on here and 4 or more others forums. I grew mi5 by stitch and love that stuff I had my eye on dr feelgood as well. Good to see your growing your own medicine. How many plants are you going to have under that light?
As many as possible. I might loose a little weight in the end but the quality is just great for my wife and my needs. Been working on a led by end of the month but i was hoping for one last month also Thanks for stop'n by.
Less plants will yield more with less work on autos. If where you live is warm enough you should just throw them outside during the day and inside at night.
Hi friends. Had 6 out of 10 germ so far. 3 purple mazar, 2 dr. feelgood and 1 snow white. Prepared my pots with some small pea gravel and 1 or 2 larger stones in the bottom for drainage. Why this way you may ask, it's the way my grandmother did every plant she potted. It was not mmj but all her stuff grew great! Each pot was watered with proper ph'd rain water then left to drain for a hour. Seeds were then planted and fitted with plastic wrap and 6 or so tiny holes pokes in it. Pots were labeled and placed in the cab 2 to 3 inches from the lights. This technique has worked on all my other grows so stick with it. I will have to put what ever else that germs in my trusty 22oz cups as i'm limited to space. Had to move everything to the lights instead of lowering the lights. I have a 15inch blue himalaya in the back than needs a few more days. site will not let me load pics today. I think that covers is. Till next time
Hi friends. Internet been off for a bit. Pay for 12meg and only get'n 1.5meg at best now thats back on I'll get some pics up when the lights come back on. 12 hours after the first 6 germed last 4 seeds had still never cracked I've had this problem before on other grows. Seeds turn dark and never crack. I put them in soil just in case Out of the 6 that germed and planted 2 have broke ground
Hi friends. Well 3 up and 3 nothing. One is just empty seed hull with dead matter in it, another has a mm of tap root out and looks to be dying, and last one has green but still in seed shell and looking bad. The 3 that are up look great. I dropped 6 more seeds in to soak. 1 SW 1 DFG & 4 BH, these will go in jiffy pucks and under a light in the jiffy starter kit. Worked good one time for me before. The last four seeds that never cracked in the beginning are still in a pot and still nothing. Nothing to worry about
Hi friends. Things are sprouting around here like its spring time or something. Went out back for my coffee/smoke time today & on my way out i looked at a shot glass that i dropped some 4 seeds in a couple days ago. They did not sprout 2 weeks ago. They just been sitting in a empty glass. Much to my surprise i see a little tap root sticking out So i gently eased it off the bottom with a small spoon, grabbed my coffee and bowl had headed out back to plant it in some soil. Now as im outside heading for a small pot i look at the large pot that the dog knocked over about 5 days ago. It also contained 3 more seeds that did not even crack. Looked around but did not see them. Thought they were a lost cause. Low and behold there by a scrap of lumber was a baby sprout Went back in and got my camera and took some pics. They have to be the snow white or dr feel good that did not germ. Here is the pics of everyone and their doing awesome! Still no SW to sprout but overall I'm a happy camper. Included 2 pics of the unknown plant, 1 when i found it and then potted. Maybe its a SW. Still amazed that it was there and the tap root was in some hard old dirt. Hi friends. Well why do i always have to try and make it better. My new cab was doing great last grow. Beginning this grow i moved my small fans over the lights pulling air up to the fan/filter. Tossed my thermometer yesterday and it read upper 80's. Moved my fans back bottom blowing up, temps steady 78f. Thats the only thing i changed that could have caused my problems with slow growth. 2 of the purp mazar have shown fem at day 17. The pics are labeled. The one dfg is at day 8 and looks small as they all do to me. The one snow white is in mutant form. The unknown looks to be moving slow and a bh that almost sprouted and just stop'd. Over all the pm are looking great and i have the utmost confidence that with the temps normal things will start picking up. Thanks for dropping by bros
Hi friends. All looking great and pick'n up speed. Check out the 3 different sizes of the PM which are all 22 days old The DFG is showing improvement also. I think it was a little heat problem like i said before. I'm really hope the unknown plant is a snow white but guess there is no way to tell. I dont know what made the one BH mute out like it did but as long as it keeps showing growth it has a home. Guess thats it for today. Hi Friends. Very busy as of late but had a free min so here's the plants in their new home. They seem very happy and so am I day 27 for the purp mazar and day 18 for the Dr feel good. also i have added a couple of blue himalaya that i picked up from a bud. they are very short runts. i had the room so heck ya i was glad to save them. try to update more. peace
Hi friends. Well everything is growing like mad! The one PM it totally out on control at 17in+ today! Got the tent just in time. The one mutant DFG is looking like it got topped some how. It did get turned on it's side as a seed and the root grew up and out of the soil a bit before it sprouted. As long as it is showing growth ill keep it. Everything got full strength nutes yesterday after straight rain water 3 days ago. This is the mix- 3tsp/gal Grow Big, 2Tbl/gal Big Bloom, 1tsp/gal molasses, & 1tsp/ epson salt. The two BH will start full strength Big Bloom & Tiger Bloom end of next week. Tried to lable all the pics. Hope their understandable And my 135w LED arrived today
