Okay just to be clear this is not supposed to be an attack of the forum community, moderators, owners etc etc However I was wondering why exactly there is an age limit and why it is so frequently brought up in threads. It may be that there is a simple answer such as "we would have our website shut down if we allowed u18's" or is it simply that the persons running the website do not want u18's on the site because they think people u18 shouldn't be smoking.....on this point i would have to disagree. Is not 16 (the age you can for example buy beer in many parts of europe) a more appropriate cut off? once again this is just supposed to be an attack i was just interested as to the actual reason and wanted to know what people thought about age limit as it is ciao

what makes you say that? usally i can get a good idea if some one is underaged by the numbers they use in the name like bobby98(just an exmple) i would assume bobby is about 14 because of the 98 in his name most likly meaning 1998 his birth year but its not a fool proof method cuz the year 1998 may have been when his first son was born or the year he lost his virginity or any number of other things
Implying that the forums isn't full of underage kids anyways... I really doubt this is the reason, I imagine it's more so for the security of the site. I'm only guessing, but I figure it would be easier to shut a site down (if someone/a group felt so inclined) that's dedicated to marijuana and allows underage users to post. Sure weed is legal in some places, but I don't know of anywhere (correct me if I'm wrong) where weed is legal for people who are underage.
I joined when I was 16, 5 years ago. I think it has more to do with them not getting in trouble than thinking you should be 18 to smoke. Joining underage is not condoned _YODA

I could be wrong, but I believe that in most places 18 is the age of consent...as in the age where you can actually make decisions on your own, without your parents' consent... If they were to allow underage members, theoretically, they would have to do so with parental consent for minors... My guess...could be way wrong though...

Yeah i assume so but i jsut though maybe you had like a legit reason to think he was 14 and i was just stating my method for figuring out if someone is underaged or not again not a fool proff method but a logical one cuz the numbers in most peoples user name is usally in refrence to there birth date or some other significant date
