Uncle Chuck

This weekend I took a 4 hour road trip with my older brother to La Junta, CO, a small town in southern colorado, where my grandmother and lots of relatives live. It was the first time ive gone down there without my parents, just because its a ways away, and i wouldnt go there with anybody other than them... anyways. my uncle lives with my grandma, used to be an alcoholic, smoked like a chimney, but quit everything but pot. when i got there he was sitting on the porch, and i lit up a cig. he commented on how he quit ciggs 3 months ago, and asked if i smoked weed. I told him yep, and right there he busted out a joint and lit it up. We smoked, and my brother came to get my help to unload shit from his truck. I told him about smokin with my uncle and he laughed. Over the weekend he would invite me out back for a joint every couple hours when i was there, and he was telling me about my parents, and he asked if i knew that they smoked. I do, and he was telling me about how they both started about 16, and always have smoked. It was funny finding out funny stories involving my dad and him being stoned.

plus, i was outside rolling a joint, and my brother came outside where i was, he usually tries to nark me sometimes, so i naturally kinda slid the shit aside. he sat down and told me he doesnt care about it and i dont have to hide it from him or anything, because he understands and isnt gonna preach to me and make me stop, seeing as im over 18 and it doesnt affect any other aspects in my life.

it was a pretty cool weekend, and im ripped and a little tipsy, sorry for the long post....

my dads the youngest of 12, and EVERYONE but a couple of my aunts smoke, all of my 5 uncles are stoners, and my dad too. i didnt toke it up with my grandpa tho rezin, on both sides they passed away, although i would give anything to have them back. but yea, its a pretty chill family, i feel lucky to have so many aunts and uncles and like dozens and dozens of cousins.
