Hi, I'm currently at the 6th week of my first grow (for the curious it's a sweet cheese auto from sweet seeds).
Looking at the trichomes I can see they are about half cloudy and half transparent so I think I'm close to harvest but the pistils on the colas are still white!
So my question is: should I harvest (after a week or so of flushing) even if the pistils are white or should I wait?
Thanks in advance for your help!

  3. You can harvest now when dried it will have thc but not the potency you want... let it go until you barely see white pystils...

  4. Personally i like to have 10% amber & mostly cloudy, and also after some of the hairs have gone brown, just me. Looks like great smoke

  5. But I read on various sites that when trichs are mostly cloudy the bud is at peak THC content (I'm not looking for a couch-locking high) but I think my plant is almost there, while having still no sign of darkened pistils.
I'm giving it at least another week of flushing so there's still plenty of time for them to darken, but could it be possible for a bud to be ripe enough and still have white pistils?
Thank you all for your help!

  11. That doesn't look very close to the end yet from that picture. I say let it go another 2 weeks. But, keep your eye the trichomes and if you start seeing Amber you can cut.

  12. Agreed two weeks should do it. Then I would flush for half a week or a full week.

  13. It seems that there is a bell curve in there where when taken cloudy, alot are still clear, which has nothing in it, to all cloudy to amber which are starting to degrade. Waiting for more of a couchlock also adds alot more wieght. I think you need 2 weeks before the flush. I hope this helps

  14. Ok guys thanks for feedback!
I'll try to wait as you suggested.

  15. It looks like it can do another 2-4 weeks. I would monitor the Triches incase they degrade. The leaves look so green, almost like at mid life.

  16. JD leave it for 4 weeks then flush then harvest
