Um, what is going on with my Big Bud?

  1. Sorry I have been scarce here lately. I'm on my third grow (yea) but my feminine Big Bud, the same one I grew my first successful grow, is growing what look like seed pods to me. If so, I'm chopping it. What do you all think?

  2. That's a male, and ready to burst too. Sorry man, same thing just happened to me with some "feminized" seed.

  3. Damn. Really? I let it show gender in veg and i didn't see anything like this. Maybe it took longer for this to show. It shows all the little hairs first! I'm so frustrated.

  4. maybe a hermi.

  5. Still not safe to be around the girls. I want to be ready for breeding, but I dont know if I am.

  6. it showed me female two months ago, no its male now. Must be a... wait for it... TRANS-PLANT! HA HA HA. OI.

  7. Well if you are even considering getting into breeding get rid of the Hermie ASAP. It's not 100% male from the looks, my guess is the genetics weren't the most stable and it was stressed somehow this time and this is the result. It's happened to me before, but you don't want hermie pollen, it's worthless.

  8. if it is a hermie you can use some plastic wrap and tape to encase the male pods...but some pollen will escape and you will have some seeds (if a stress formed hermie, what you would have if they were fem seeds yuo started with, then you will have lots of fem seeds when it is 'ripe'...)

  9. I'm pretty sure the pollen from the stressed hermie needs to pollinate a regular female for that to work, because from all my experience with having hermie flowers, or residual hermi seeds, is I've never once even gotten one to germinate.

  10. As much as I want to keep it, I think it's best to kill it off. Or plant it waaaaaaay outside near my project white widow. See what happens!

  11. Decided to take it outside and see if the bees will help make me a big bud x white widow!
