ULTIMATE GUIDE To Feeling Weird or Still high several days/weeks/months later

Discussion in 'Marijuana Consumption Q&A' started by HazedHead, Oct 2, 2013.

  1. Paragraphs were good, if someone experiences this they will not care if it's long. Good guide make it official city

  2. Basically look into to your thought patterns, hobbies environment, health/mental issues, toxins, anything that's not serving you will be a contributor to your problem... Alcohol and tobacco will not help tho! Probably what cause it in the first place.... All them Chems will effect your baton chemistry in some way... You create your own reality trough perception... You become your thoughts... This is truth... Every thought you have is energy an vibrations...

  3. I'd like two share my experience with this so far. Two nights ago I smoked two bowls with my friend after work. All went normal, the previous two days I would smoke and then go to bed and everything would be back to normal. Unfortunately, the next day I woke after the night of smoking two bowls I still felt the high. Every time I moved I had that slow motion feeling and just disconnected from reality. I had smoked in the past numerous times and I never experienced this before. Only similar experiences was when I'd feel like I was high but it would go away quickly after me saying to myself I wasn't high. (I'd get the high feeling after telling myself that I thought I was high). I'm going on day 3 now and hopefully this ghost high will go away soon. I'm planning to abstain from smoking for awhile until this goes away. Your post really helped and I can strongly relate since I am a busser at a resturaunt too😂. Some people don't understand why this happens and take it as a joke or reply negatively. Once it happens to them it will suck. Thanks

it's 3.40 in the morning and I made an account just to reply to this thread. I'm getting this feeling 2 days after getting drunk and high, and one day after almost greening out from a sesh. My hands and fingers feel strange, especially when I grip stuff. They have an uncomfortable warm pins and needles feeling. I know it's what you're talking about though, and not the regular 2 day thing people talk about, because I've had it longer before. It's so strange, I really don't feel like myself and the idea of everything just doesn't make sense to me. It's not like a high feeling you want though, days go slow and you don't feel green, you just feel slow and stupid, and your physical sensations are heightened a bit. I looked at the replies and felt bad for you, cause everyone is treating it like a joke haha. Truth is its pretty scary because you don't know when you're going to be yourself again, and not some observer floating through life. Also getting a slow motion vibe, and snap out of the daze for a few seconds before going back in it. Yikes. Can't wait for the next sesh x tl:Dr op is good with words, describes the feeling perfectly. Despite what you may think it's not really a feel good feeling

  6. So I've smoked 8 nights straight and every day after I felt "out of it" which never happened. Last time I smoked was 2 days ago. And I went to a basketball game the day after and felt so high I was almost falling over. Then today the second day after I still felt weird, my arms were numb, and sometimes couldn't feel something I was holding or couldn't feel people touching me. I felt dizzy and felt like I was not like everyone else or normal. Hard to focus and stuff. I felt better by the night now but don't know why it happens. I asked the friends I smoked with and they thought I was weird. But I talked to a friend who also smoked (dabs) this week and he said he felt weird too, but his legs felt numb. I guess the high stays with us longer or something. Sometimes I like it but sometimes it creeps me out. I'm going to smoke this weekend and see what happens and keep a update.

  7. I couldnt agree more with what you said, i used to smoke nearly everyday and then what u described is what happen to me for a short while, i stopped smokin for about 4 months and started again to see if the feeling would happen again which it did and now every time i smoke ill have that hazy conscious feeling for weeks but its not like being high, its sh*t. I dnt kno why i get it now and never used to but i guess ill have to quit smokin all together ☹️

  8. glad i'm not alone on this, i smoked a little bit one week ago in prom and after the night i felt really weird like haze and shit like that, and it's weird because this never happened to me before

  9. Depending on how much u smoked a day after is acctually normal but weeks after isnt, but the feeling goes after a while trust me.

  10. Hey man, I'm experiencing this, it's been about a week since I got the highest I've ever been and had a minor panic attack and i feel like I'm in a slight haze as though I'm not quite with it and my time perception is a bit weird but I just wandered if you've got any personal advice, how long do you think it will last? I've had moments where I've felt better and moments where it's been bad, I find car journeys really bad like I fall deep into my own thought almost like passing out. Just wishing it would go away now :/.

  11. Hi!

I smoked weed about 6 weeks, too much. After it about 15 min,my heart like 5hit/1sec , and the other symptoms, blurry vision, dry mouth. After it i walked home, from when we smoked, and i went sleep. But when i woke up ,my heart was slowlier, but still fast, and my vision/ vision-reflex, and my face memory not too good :/ Now im in the 6 week after it happened, and I feel a little bit better, but not the normal way, that i was. Is this problems will solve at the next week?

  12. Back in the day when I was a lot younger I smoked every day. I had this happen. It took several months after I stopped smoking before I felt normal again. Just started back after all these years to help deal with some things. I've read that cbd counter acts THC. So I'm curious if taking some cbd oil might help

  13. I just want to say thank you for sharing your story brother. I'm usually not the type of person who comments but this story relates so much to how I am feeling right now. I ate an edible which I have never eaten let alone never really smoked weed and let me tell you I felt like I died and couldn't wake up. So anyways that passed me by and a few days later like a idiot I ate a small piece and now I have been stuck on stupid with really bad anxiety for 4 days. Reading your story made me feel better. I been drinking a ton of water and vitamins along with eating right to detox my body. Hopefully tomorrow I feel better!

  14. Well what many ppl know and many don't . Herb grants users special powers it's where peace and love in the 60's came from ,it was the Herb and the more you smoke the more powers you gain.
So what is this power? and can you use it? It's the power of empath in other words you know how others are feeling on a deep mental level . You can sense how they feel and for some may affect their own feelings too .
at this point you see it in there faces and often ppl start to look strange to you ,it's real trust me

If You feel out of touch with everyone around you ....You might have this power....

  15. Hello everyone! If I would read this thread one month ago I would laugh, untill exactly what OP described happened to me. So I smoked 2 weeks ago a joint with my friends. Everything was cool nothing wrong untill the next day. I woke up and I was feeling so damn high that I couldn't drive, couldn't do anything. I thought was because I slept like 4 hours and I was tired so after some hours being high as fuck I went to bed and slept for 8 hours but surprise after I woke up I was feeling daaamn high. I have read so many things on the internet and most of people said that "it's in your head", BUT fuck that man wasn't in my head I was pure high. So it kept me like this for 9-10 days untill FULL recovery. I was thinking I will feel my entire life like that I was so scared. So my advice from the man who experienced this: You won't feel like this forever; The feeling is pure from weed and you just need to get rid of it from your body; Drink ONLY water, try to exercise and try to don't think about it ( it's hard as fuck to don't think about it I know but just try); You need company, try to get a friend or someone and talk all night with him/her and even sleep with someone in bed because anxiety will fuck you up so you need company 24/24, even talking with someone on skype you MUST socialise. Also the most important part and where I personally FAILED: Try to "enjoy" even for a little bit by watching movies or playing games because I was thinking about it non-stop and it was driving me crazy. So that's pretty much it. The first 5 days were the must fucked up and after that I was feeling better each day untill after 10 days I was feeling perfectly normal. Now I must say I hate the fact that weed made me feeling like this because I LOVE WEED like OP said, but now I am too scared to smoke again so most probably I won't smoke again for atleast an entire year. I want to find someone who experienced the same thing and I want to know if he/she smoked again after that experience but couldn't find anyone yet. If you experienced the same thing and smoked again please reply because I want to know if this thing will happen again next time.

  16. Everything will be better if you are going through a situation like this. Just relax.
The OP's case seems to be a really uncommon. I am 25 years old. I started smoking like 7 months ago. During the first months, I had no problem at all. Two weeks ago,I felt a lack of energy and difficulty to focus when I woke up, so I stopped smoking completely and the weird feeling went almost away in about two days. After that I decided to smoke again and the feeling came back.
I went to the doctor and explained that I was feeling sort of tired. I had a blood test, everything turned to be normal. According to the doctor, I may have just went through some stress and it was nothing quite serious. Which makes sense, since I was only smoking(indica, I am not sure) at the evenings and not having enough sleep.
Currently, almost a week has passed and this sensation is almost completely gone. What helped me a lot was listening to ASMR on youtube to get some quality sleep, taking cold showers and drinking lots of herbal infusions to relax.
I believe that I was overthinking a lot about this issue and I was not allowing my body to rest properly.

  17. Hey man, I smoked a bowl of pure dusties mixed with sceletium , which is meant to give a euphoric high, but instead after that one bowl i walked outside and my vision started going insanely bright , then my vision started to black out pixel by pixel until i could only see parts of my friend infront of me, while this was happening i had a loud constant ringing in my head like it was loud. I dont know how long the trip lasted but my friend said i sounded super calm almost like i was another person. Then all of the sudden my vision came back immediately or i cant remember it coming back, and when my vision came back i had insane visuals , like everything looked like a painting. Its been 2 weeks after that and when i look in the mirror sometimes my pupils are so huge i cant even see my eye color , it feels as if im in a lucid dream and like my head is in the clouds the whole time

  18. You have to detox. Drink only water and a cup of coffee everyday. Eat good, sleep well and try to exercise, go out, have a good time and communicate as much as possible with friends and close ones.

  19. Thanks man I didn't know what was going on with me, everything feels so weird, just as you describe it.
I'm not quitting weed for sure , I kinda like this hazey weird fake reality state i'm in now that I know that it's not anyting serious or such.
    Thanks man!

  20. I didn't read all the comments, just because people are full of bullshit and just trying to say it's all in your head... but it's not! I have the same thing happen. I have actually had this happen multiple times- just to see if anything changed. On average though, if I had a good smoke session I would typically stay head high for about 2 weeks or more! It would come and go in waves. Usually I would feel more grounded after a big meal, but it would last for days and days. People can joke about wanting to stay high for more than just a few hours, but I can reassure you that you would NOT want this... especially if you had things to get done, say in the next WEEK! It kinda ends up feeling like this never ending acid trip, where all the days blend into one another. All I can think of is that it's somehow an intolerance to THC, or for some reason our bodies simply cannot eliminate the metabolites like normal people. It sucks, because I really like weed. I have tried to just take a single small hit if I smoke... but it will never get me baked, and even then, I can find myself stoned for a few good days. So... I am just gonna avoid it. What do ya do?
