what light are you planning on using?.....i use a 400w HPS and a 150w MH and for the veg stage have the 2 on 24/0.....as for costs....i didn't even notice the diffrence really....here's the best way to go about it if it's your place....if you don't allready have them ......replace all your bulbs with the energy saving ones......it say's it uses 14w and gives out approx the eqivlent of a 75w bulb......hence replace all the bulbs and then have you lights on a timer.....like below, to lower the impact of the bill 6x 100w bulbs = 600w 6x 14w bulbs = 84w leaving you a spare 416w for a light, and the elec company won't notice any spikes......these are only examples and how i done it, ps the light is however dimmer than the original bulbs, but like i said if it's your place then you won't mind.....Peace out....Sid
