It starts off nicely and I actually get suckered into believing "Hey, maybe this documentary will aid our struggle." Than it suckers you into believing marijuana causes it to create the illicit market. I was truly hoping for a nonpartisan view on the economics on the black market of Marijuana, but than the interviewer begins to suck the DEA's dick and just talks about the negatives of how it basically destroys everything.

Ughh, I thought the liberal media was well...liberal?!

    Your thoughts on this documentary?

  2. I've seen it a few times. My friends and I agree that the lady doing it was really anti marijuana. She just seems so shocked and annoyed half the time that she has to deal with everything. Not a very positive documentary but it was definitely interesting.

  3. My thoughts on it are this:

It gets most people thinking of not only the health effects, but the black market.

This is a good thing, even it's initially in a bad light. When they learn about the travesties that the illegal marijuana trade creates, they will be more inclined to listen to debates about how marijuana legalization affects the black market.

  4. The MSM is all reliant on Gov.INC. Play something Pro-MJ on TV, and soon you're under investigation by the FCC for displaying obscene materials. Yep. Look up the obsenety regulations regarding public use of the airwaves. You CAN be shut down by the FCC for displaying "gratuitously offensive and highly objectionable" material on the air waves.

Yay for the first amenemdment.

  5. I thought the same thing and I completely agree with you. Problem is, this is just a one sided opinion. The documentary implies marijuana itself caused all of these ailments and NOT the fact it is illegal. It also doesn't bring the all-encompassing question, What if marijuana was legal? Because if they did, they knew that all of these consequences would be quickly erased.

Although I do agree with the ending of the series which does open up debate and that is the narc at the end saying "We are losing the war and the smokers are winning".
