I think the games are going to start getting better when it comes to MMA games. EA sports now owns the rights to creating the UFC games after the mess that happened on its way to securing those rights. They will be handled by the Fight Night creators. I think that is excellent, the fight night games have always been high enjoyable. I see the career mode being very fun. I cannot wait until that game comes out. While I am on the subject of EA and MMA, anyone every play the MMA Elite game? There was a big controversy, because Dana claimed that EA refused to buy the right, claiming it was not a real sport. THQ released undisputed with the UFC, EA saw it as profitable and then they come out with the Elite game. Dana also threatened to kick out anyone from the UFC who appears in the game. Despite that, their are some names and having Emelianenko fight Coutre has to be interesting. I have never played it, but I assume its not that good. I own Undisputed 3 and is it just me or is this game really hard to figure out. I've played so many fights, but still don't understand the control completely. The career was fun, but I abandoned that because I could figure out 90 percent of the training exercises. The fight night brand is good at what the THQ game was weak at.
I love the undisputed series, have played em all a shit ton as they came out. I love the controls and once you master them the gameplay is just great. I'm worried about EA owning the rights now, THQ was making huge improvements every installment. I hope EA continues what THQ started instead of trying to recreate the whole thing. How can you judge a game when you dont fully understand how to play it? I do agree career mode needs rejuvenation, but the controls are pretty solid imo
