i got these two fertilizers (peters 20-20-20 and peters 10-50-10) at lowes for around 10 dollars...5 lbs of each. i figure if this stuff is good enough to use, i have all the ferts i need for a long long time... oh, they both have micronutrients... what do you guys think about these two ferts?
Personally, I don't use fertilizers but those will do the trick I'm sure. A few of us around have started organic grows, using manures, guanos, bone meal, blood meal, worm castings, etc added to a good base soil. Main thing with ferts is do not OVERfert or fert too soon. Give the babies some time to get strong on their own. Gluck . . Gg
hows it........20/20/20 is going to be too strong for you plants in veg......for veg you should be looking for 15/10/10 or something like it.....higher in N for veg but not a high NPK.......for flower your 10/50/10 sounds good....you can still use your 20/20/20 in a diluted form so dont chuck it....or use it on some veges and get your self something like what i sugested....laters
yeah, after reading alot i figure i am gonna use the 20-20-20 at 1/4 strength and the bloom fert at half strength to make sure i don't burn them... wouldn't me using it at 1/4 strength make it 5-5-5? and the bloom 5-25-5?
