The leafes of the plants are starting to twist in a strange way.. is it just because they turn towards the light? They are only 9 days old. Please help me out!
I can't see any pics, but... I think I've had the same problem in somewhat young plants. I think that its caused by low humidity, heat, or a combination of the two. Do you know what the humidity of your room is? It should at least be around 40, and ideally it should be higher.
i've had the same issues and i think it's because of low humidity. my temps were solid at 82f, there was no way it was over-fert. everything turned out fine.
Your attachment is a .doc, thats a word file, you need it to be a .jpg Anyway, ive also heard that can happen with acidic soil.
It's not like the leafes are just turning towards the light..some parts of the leafes just seem to fold in different direction making them look weird. My soil is Ph 7 or 6.5, normal potting soil with perlite. I olso put a little Peat moss, white sand, and lava rocks at the bottom to help drainage. I'm on CFL's at about 4 inches from the plants. I havent started giving nuts yet. No I don't know the exact humidity level but I know it's not very high....I spray water around them and in the air twice a day...any suggestions to have more humidity? Will keeping some water in the drainers help?
